Hi
Don't use stop, use pause "P".
so:
get to the beginning of the music you want to select and press P to pause
then left bracket.
Then unpause with P and when you get to the end of the music press P to
pause and press the right Bracket. Then press space to stop.
I think that should do it. I haven't used it for a while.
