Clive, not really, it depends on what drives are already on the machine.
Also, a lot of security/virus software won't allow usb pen drives etc. that
try and automatically run things.
Cheers
Alex

Hello Steve,

It would be great if you could always key in Windows+R followed by, say:
n:\nvda.nvda.exe

How do you make sure that no matter what computer you hook it into, it'll
always come up with the same drive letter? Can this be done?

Best,
Clive

Hi,

Don't even need Narrator if you know the drive letter. Just press Windows+R
then type in drive:\nvda\nvda.exe where drive: is the drive that the pen is
on.

All the best

Steve

The autorun is broken as of now. The only way would be with the help of
Narrator typing the letter of your flash drive, then a colon, then a
backslash, then the full path to the NVDA executable simply named nvda.exe.

onto a pen drive. The site says to put 'Autorun' onto the pen, and that this
should automatically launch on plugging in the pen drive. Although we did
this, my sighted colleague says that on connecting the USB stick to the PC,
the box still comes up asking if I want to run movies, open folder to view
files, take no action and all that.
