Re: [BCAB] Microsoft to Close Messenger and consolidate Im Serviceson Skype George Bell 07 Nov 2012 09:19 GMT

Hi Ian,

Did I understand you correctly? Skype is available for the Mac. I
use it frequently for development purposes since I can share my screen
like I can in the Windows Version of Skype.

One of the people I communicate with is a Mac VoiceOver user, so I
know it is accessible too.

George.

This is very interesting, I can see there logic behind it but I too
would have concerns as too weather Skype can handle such a big change.
I hope that a version will come out for mac so that we can all do the
same thing as mac users if messenger is closing. One question I would
like to know the answer too is does that mean using things like Adium
for mac won't be able to be used for windows live messenger? I have
been using messenger on adium for quite a while now and would hope
that will still be possible.
