Re: [BCAB] Twitter Question Christopher Power 11 Nov 2012 12:47 GMT

Hi there,

I have just tested the question regarding whether twitter allows punctuation in hash tags.

It does not allow single quotes as was in the example or double quotes. I tested this both
on the website and through my twitter client.

A hash tag is created, but it is just the characters before the punctuation - so in the case
of the programme mentioned, it would be the hash tag #where which could have messages
attached to it.

Cheers,
Chris
