[BCAB] Tidying up iTunes library Sunil Peck 20 Nov 2012 15:09 GMT

I've shifted a lot of files around and deleted a lot of duplicate files in my documents since I first built an iTunes library on my computer. Because I manipulated the files in Finder as opposed to doing it from within iTunes, there are a lot of shortcuts in iTunes that point towards files that have either been moved or deleted. Because there are so many instances of this I thought I may as well delete my iTunes library and build a new one. I don't have any playlists and am not bothered about retaining play counts or anything.

Is there an alternative to starting all over again, maybe a menu option I could activate from an options menu in iTunes? If not, what file to I need to delete? I'd like to avoid deleting any important system files.

Thanks a lot,
