Hi Ruth,

In the App Store on your iPhone, go to the Featured tab, scroll right
down to the bottom, and click where your Apple ID is shown.  A window
will pop up, select the 'View Apple ID' option. Now, because you've
tried to buy apps and it was previously set to the wrong country's App
Store, it'll ask you if you'd like to change it.  Change it, and
everything will be back to normal!

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the link.  I've successfully downloaded iTunes.  One more
wee querie! My iPhone4s using ios6, when I try to install apps it
tells me my account is not in the US - switch to UK. Any ideas?
