Steve, When I had issues of Windows Explorer crashing, it turned out to be preview mode on which at some level was clashing with I guess my screen reader I think control p turned it off and all was well Colin -----Original Message----- From: Bcab [mailto:bcab-bounces@lists.bcab.org.uk] On Behalf Of Steven Bingham Sent: 22 November 2012 13:51 To: 'BCAB Discussion List' Subject: Re: [BCAB] WINDOWS EXPLORER PROBLEM No - I mean Windows Explorer. Basically it keeps crashing. I get a message saying "Downloads" not responding or Etexts not responding Downloads and Etext are folder names. Windows claims to be looking for a solution to the problem but, of course, never finds one. If I try to restart Windows Explorer by any means I get a message saying that the call to a process could not be executed. Any ideas, short of reinstalling Windows. I have carried out obvious things like double checking for viruses, carrying out disc cleans up, defrags and so on but nothing, as expected, makes a difference.
