Louise, this is a long shot, but check that your browser is set to accept
first party cookies being stored on your PC, and ensure you're not using a
sandbox (such as SandboxIE). I have experienced similar problems on other
sites when trying to enter password fields and I believe that these may have
been contributing factors.

Hi.
It's universal jobmatch and it appears that before you can look for jobs you
must register and do a cv and a personal profile. I hit the get started
link and fill out name and email etc but cannot get passed the password
entry field. I have typed a range of different passwords following the
guidelines for 12 characters and letters and numbers but when i press submit
it jumps back to the password field. All i want is to look at jobs and the
government seem determined to make it as hard as possible with their new
site and also to have every last detail on you so they can spy on your every
move. https://www.gov.uk/jobs-jobsearch

Could you post a link to the website you're trying to use? Also, could you
explain what you're finding difficult? It'll all help someone help you out.

Léonie.

Subject: [BCAB] new direct gov website

Hey y'all.
I have just discovered the new job search on direct.gov and found it rather
inaccessible and cluttered. Does anyone know how to register for the online
service to enable me to do a job search. I have tried to register for a
gateway id or what ever they call it. However i can't get passed the
password entry field despite trying several passwords.
Can anyone shed any light on how this thing works.

Thanks, Louise.
