Re: [BCAB] Amazon - downloading an mp3 album David Reynolds 25 Nov 2012 20:54 GMT
Joe/David, All three of us are people who are prepared to persevere with such things, but imagine how difficult it is for those who simply use computers as a tool. It is all sorted now, but not without a load of faffing around. I cleared all cookies so that I could start with a clean slate, then: 1.Launch Amazon Cloud Player. 2.Select the album view. 3.Select the album you want to download, which is the album name and doesn't get announced as a link, you just hit enter when you get to it. 4.Check the checkbox at the top, which has the effect of checking the checkboxes against all tracks. 5.Hit the download link, and check the information bar. 6.Amazon downloader should then fire up, and the jobs' done. Joe, save this, and the next time Linda orders something, it'll remind you what to do. Best, David. -----Original Message----- From: Bcab [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org] On Behalf Of Joe Paton Sent: 25 November 2012 20:16 To: BCAB Discussion List Subject: Re: [BCAB] Amazon - downloading an mp3 album Yes David. It's a pain. Took me 2 hours to download one of Lynda's purchases, but for the life of me, I can't remember how I got it to download. The album had 11 tracks, and in the end, I had 99 tracks. So I guess I downloaded 9 copies of each track. It really is a mess. Sorry, this doesn't help you at alol, except to prove to you that it is not you that is going round the twist.
