Barry, Just in the normal way. I'm used to pc keyboards on a slight slope, and this is the first laptop I've owned, rather than just used. It's fine, and as stated, I'm very happy with the layout. Further plus points: There are delineations between each block f four function keys. The insert and delete keys are on the same row as the function keys, and are demarked by a small gap. Very good keyboard, Best, David. -----Original Message----- From: Bcab [mailto:bcab-bounces@lists.bcab.org.uk] On Behalf Of Barry Toner Sent: 27 November 2012 14:50 To: BCAB Discussion List Subject: Re: [BCAB] HP Laptops, keyboards. Hi David, That's great thanks. When you say it took a bit to get used in what way? Just in the normal way some laptop keyboards can or was there something weird about it? Cheers, Barry. -----Original Message----- From: Bcab [mailto:bcab-bounces@lists.bcab.org.uk] On Behalf Of David Reynolds Sent: 27 November 2012 13:30 To: 'BCAB Discussion List' Subject: Re: [BCAB] HP Laptops, keyboards. Barry, I'm using one at the moment, and the keyboard takes a bit of getting used to. However, unlike some keyboards, there is a clear delineation between keyboard and number pad. I bought this one from the business section of pc world, and made sure that I had a go with it before purchase. The numpad is as per normal, with 4 keys at the top, respectively page up, page down, home and end. I'm very happy with it, Best, David. -----Original Message----- From: Bcab [mailto:bcab-bounces@lists.bcab.org.uk] On Behalf Of Barry Toner Sent: 27 November 2012 12:37 To: bcab@lists.bcab.org.uk Subject: [BCAB] HP Laptops, keyboards. Folks, I'm always a bit particular about the keyboards on laptops I buy. Therefore I've always went for Toshibas, but I've seen a lovely HP online. This will be a work laptop purchased through Access to Work. It's a 15.6", so it has a numpad. It makes me a bit nervous not being able to see the laptop before hand mind. What are peoples opinions?
