Hi David,

That's useful thanks.

I'm not worried about formulas at this stage. I was more using the
sheet for presentational purposes.

Regards,
Barry.

One technique is to simply select and copy the relevant section of the
spreadsheet and paste this into Word. Word 2003 normally interprets
the paste as a table. You can then read it, edit and navigate it like
any other worked table.

The only drawback from memory is that this will only paste in the values
and not the formula underlying any cell. This will be OK is you still
have the original spreadsheet as you can simply paste the updated
formula results.
This may or may not work for you depending on what you want to do.

All this works in Word 2003 so I suspect it will still work in 2010.

Hi folks,

I'm producing a report for my manager and it would look professional for
me to insert a Spread Sheet into the report that I'm writing in Word
2010.
I've the written portion of my report complete and am now ontothe
datasheets. Insertinga sample Excel sheet into Word, JAWS just reads
the coordinates of the Spread Sheet. Is it possible to read/edit the
data? I suspect not.

If not not a problem, I can insert the sheet and just keep my own copy
as a separate xlsx.

Cheers,

Barry.
