Hi Tom, it's all going to come down to how much you want to spend. All the suggestions I've seen so far fall under the heading of good for the money, not good regardless of price. Someone suggested Beyer. They have some good ones. I use Beyer for professional audio work due to lack of sound colourisation. For listing to music though I'd go for Sennheiser every time. Be prepared to pay for quality though. As with any audio equipment you get what you pay for. I want a wired set, that I can listen to clasical music on. In or over ear. Listening at home so don't need fancy noise cancelling stuff. For example, are they just for use with a screen reader or will you be listening to music as well. Even then, will you be listening in any great detail or is it just background listening? Do you want on ear, over ear, in ear? How long do you want the cable to be (and would you prefer detachable or hard wired)? All this sort of thing will factor in. That said, if you're looking for a reasonable pair of all rounders that go on the ear rather than inside it and won't break the bank, I rate the Coss Porta Pros. They're just shy of £25 on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Koss-Porta-Pro-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B00001P4ZH ) and, for the price, sound fantastic. Admittedly I don't own a pair personally, but a friend of mine does and I always find them a pleasure to use. They also fold down nice and small, which is always a plus.
