Hi,
Go into the area of Win update where it offers Bing. Tap apps key on
it, and select Hide.
Barry.

Subject: [BCAB] Blocking an optional windows update, how is this achieved
in windows 7?
Hi all,
I don't know if you remember, but I wrote to the list regarding Bing
Desktop, which I'd downloaded by accident recently.
I've now found that Windows Update wants to offer me Bing Desktop as an
optional update for a second time and I don't want it.
Please could someone remind me how I can make certain that Bing Desktop
is
no-longer offered to me as a windows update.
