I was discussing this with a sighted friend recently, and both he and I have
been with Tiscali, then TalkTalk, for some years.  We are both satisfied
with the service.  There may be occasional blips in the system, but these
tend to mend themselves.  My friend takes the view, with which I agree, that
there are some horror stories about all internet service providers, so
unless you really have a good reason to change, it is easier sticking with
the one you've got.

You don't describe what is going on regarding your friend's problem with
TalkTalk, but there may be many causes, including where they live and what
internet service provision is like generally for them.

As Mo only had two choices, BT or TalkTalk, I would say TalkTalk every time,
as I think BT is expensive, and I have heard more horror stories about them
than I have about TalkTalk.  As you have seen from other messages on this
thread, most of us are happy with them and have had few problems.

I won't go in to further details here, however, the problem still
exists and is not resolved.  She would have left them long time ago,
apart from the contractual obligations she signed

If you've signed already, then this is of little comfort to you,
unless you have a cooling off period.

And yet, talktalk is hugely successful. so are there mor satisfied
users than dis satisfied?
