Yes, but it seems to concentrate on takeaways - if I've understood it correctly. It's free and frankly I refuse to pay for a restaurant app on the IPhone anyway just in the same way as I wouldn't pay for a mail order catalog. Yes the menus are added very quickly, I asked for a menu to be added and it was done over the weekend! Once installed it uses GPS to establish your current location and then offers you a number of restaurants available in the vicinity You can then access the menus of each of the offered venues, reading them item by item using VO. Double tapping each menu item brings up the description of the dish. If the restaurant you're planning to visit does not appear on the offered list, you have the option of requesting it to be added. This is done via an email form. The developers claim that requested restaurants can be added within 48 hours provided that a menu is available via the internet. I've already requested the addition of a restaurant the team and I are visiting on thursday. The app is called Guide (which is slightly confusing) but can be searched for in the app store using the string Guide talking menus. It costs a fiver and I wish I'd known about it last week when I was up in Salford. It seems to be very easy to use and is accessibly laid out and presented.
