Mell,

Yes, I've heard of it. The only thing which takes time is the initial build of the library.
Te advantage with orb is that you can stream your music to any internet ready device. I think Stream to me just works for the Iphone.

Best,

David.

I've used a similar program called Stream to Me. Again you have to install the host on the PC which is called Serve to Me. Within Serve to Me you specify which drives you'd like to stream and they then appear on the I device.

Tm,

I use a product called orb. It works quite well, once you've built the library.
If you should want to install this, you'll need to install the client program on your iphone, and the host program on your PC.
If you get stuck with it, write me off list, and I'll try to sort you out.

Best,

David.

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend an accessible solution to streaming audio from a PC (XP or Win7) to an iPhone. I've looked on the AppleVis site, but the only likely looking product I could find there, had a note to the effect that there were easier ways of doing this than the product being reviewed. Does VLC allow you to do this?

I came across a product called WiFi to HiFi which appeared to do the job, but I haven't read any reviews for accessibility of this product.

Regards to all, and thanks for any pointers.
