Good Morning
Using Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit.
For a few days now I’ve been having a strange problem I can’t find the answer to so I’m hoping the list can help me. It started with me being sent a file via SendSpace and when I tried to download it I received the following message:
++++++
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.
+++++++
I’ve since noticed the access is denied on a couple of web site shortcuts I keep on my desktop. When I try to call them the message below comes up:
+++++++
Unable to open this Internet Shortcut. The protocol "http" does not have a registered program.
++++++
I have looked in the Default Programs from my All Programs but, frankly, it means nothing to me which is why I’m writing this post. Any help will be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Roger
