Hi Simon and all, That Sound Card does sound good - but Simon, do you have Firewire? If not, I assume there are USB to Firewire Converters around that would enable the use of Firewire. Most other connectors are able to be used with the use of a USB converter, for example Serial and PS2 Ports. I know this is going a little off topic, but there's nothing worse than getting a Sound Card that supports a certain connection like Firewire, and finding out that there is no Firewire Port on the computer/laptop. Simon - I will send you a separate email about helping to get your computer upgraded... Have a Happy New year 2013! Regards. Lewis.
