Hi Léonie,
Yes, since Dolphin have improved their webpage access with SN13.03 I've
started using the headings and landmarks to jump around as well. It
certainly helps but I don't like some of the adverts they keep sending.
SN13 doesn't find the "x" that Darren suggested I use to delete the
individual ads, but I've started to use the "Report This AD" which allows
you to "hide" the individual add or all ads from the company concerned.
It’s a start. <smile>

Thanks, Ian.

I tend to skip over them by using headings or landmarks to navigate through
Facebook. It doesn't bypass them entirely, but it keeps it to within
manageable limits (for me at least).

Ian,

I had similar problems, and that is one of the many reasons I don't use it,
which is unfortunate because some of y friends do.

Best,

David.

Best regards,

David.

Subject: [BCAB] Adverts on Facebook?

I've just joined Facebook to keep in touch with certain friends and am
already getting inundated with unwanted sponsored adverts.
Please could someone give me a blow by blow description as how to get rid of
the ones I've got, and how to stop more being added.

The first couple of days I was using Facebook I thought I was getting on
quite well, then these adverts started accumulating and I haven't got the
slightest interest in them, but they seem to take up a very large amount of
space on the page.

Thanks for any help.
