Matthew, these strokes were for Jaws version 2 or 3, and I can't remember
them, even if they do still work.
Highlight the thing to be dragged, push the application key, (next to the
right-hand ctrl key on desktop keyboard.) This should bring up a menu.
Select Cut, and push Enter.
Highlight the file to which the item is to be dragged and push
applications key again and select paste followed by Enter.

Hi Tiddy.

I have tried your suggestion, no joy I'm afraid. Can you let me know what
the keystrokes for drag and drop were in the early editions of JAWS please?

Regards.

Matty.

Matthew, the early versions of Jaws had keystrokes for drag and drop, but I
can't find anything in later versions. Are you sure you can't get round the
problem with cut and paste?

Subject: [BCAB] Using drag and drop facility

Good morning all.

I would be grateful if some kind soul could give me a very basic step by
step guide to using drag and drop. I have of course heard of this but,
haven't until now, had to use it. My operating system is outlook 2010,
Windows 7 and JAWS 13.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Regards.

Matty.
